Cow Story

Check this page periodically to see our featured cows. We strive to provide the best for our ladies, and each one has a unique story!

“Trixie” for short. Her full name consists of her prefix (Stil Dreamn) this accredits the farm responsible for the mating and is very important for marketing genetics. Her middle name (Judgement) is her sire’s short name. The number attached to the end (EX94) is her classification score. This is a number associated with how structurally correct a cow is and is easily interpreted as how pretty she is. EX stands for Excellent, the same scale as grades in school. Excellent cows are classified above 90 points or can be thought of as receiving A’s on a test!

Born September 16, 2011. Trixie is currently the oldest cow in the herd. She has long been a favorite of ours and her commanding appearance has always been noticed by visitors.

Her genetics are sought after worldwide. Her embryos have been exported to as far away as Tasmania, Australia. She currently has daughters in herds throughout the United States and a son (Tonka) at home that will have semen collected to be sold to other herds.

Trixie has been spotted attending public events such as the Dairy month celebration at Conway MFA in 2024. She has also lost a game of hide and seek while cooling off in the trees the same summer.

Trixie is currently enjoying semi-retirement. She has been healthy and problem free for all of her life. She receives a little extra care now in her “old age”. This winter she did receive her own private box stall to weather out a bad storm.

We look forward to celebrating her 15th birthday this year!
