Stil-Dreamn B-King QueenCookie EX94 MAX

“Queen-Cookie” for short. Her full name consists of her prefix (Stil-Dreamn) this accredits the farm responsible for the mating and is very important for marketing genetics. Her middle name (B-King) is her sire’s short name. The number attached to the end (EX93 MAX) is her classification score. This is a number associated with how structurally correct a cow is and is easily interpreted as how pretty she is. EX stands for Excellent, the same scale as grades in school. Excellent cows are classified above 90 points or can be thought of as receiving A’s on a test! MAX means she has received the top eligible score for her age.
Born September 25, 2020. One of our son’s first animals. Queen-Cookie’s mother “Champane” was a gift to our son shortly after he was born. Champane was given to him to start his herd. Champane’s mother was a very special cow and it was fitting for her to continue her legacy into our next generation as well.

Queen-Cookie spent her first year of life learning to lead, getting daily baths and attending many county fairs. She and young Diesel quickly learned going to shows was a lot of fun.
Attending shows and fairs is viewed by many of us as a hard-working vacation. It is basically a beauty pageant for cows. Kids and adults enjoy visiting and learning with their peers. It is also important for marketing a farm’s genetics. Traveling across the country to National shows can open a lot of opportunities for young farmers.

Queen-Cookie’s second year into the show string yielded many more ribbons and championships. She attended her first National show, the North American Livestock Expo, in Louisville Kentucky that year and brought home a second-place ribbon for her age class.

Just like people, cattle can be affected by injury and illness. Life is often about overcoming those challenges and Queen-Cookie is a survivor. Shortly after she had her first baby, Queen-Cookie faced an injury in the barnyard that left her legs mostly paralyzed for several months. She needed extra care and time away from the herd to heal.

The injury occurred in April of 2023, by August of that year Queen-Cookie was able to attend the Ozark Empire Fair and Missouri State Fair. She was named Grand Champion of the Missouri State Fair 4-H show that year.

That fall, she again attended the North American Livestock Expo in Louisville and again placed 2nd in her age division in the Jr. show. These placings also yielded her a Jr All-American nomination for the year.
The All-American contest happens each year after all the shows are complete. The national winners are compared against others their same age from all over the country to be deemed All-American. Winners can then be nominated to compete in the All-World contest.
Come 2024 Queen-Cookie’s beauty could not be missed!

She was named the Supreme Champion of the Ozark Empire Fair Jr show.

An excellent business opportunity came Diesel’s way and he agreed to sell half of Queen-Cookie to allow her to attend more shows and receive the best care from one of the most notable Ayrshire herds in the world, Old-Bankston Ayrshires. She quickly began winning banners in Wisconsin.
With this new partnership Queen-Cookie was able to attend the World Dairy Expo in Madison, Wisconsin. Diesel made the track up to lead her to a 2nd place finish and she was recognized in the Intermediate Championship of the Jr show.

Again, this summer Queen-Cookie attended a few shows in Wisconsin. She was named Grand Champion at the Wisconsin State Fair and Sr Champion of the Midwest Summer Ayrshire Show.

Diesel again traveled to Madison, Wisconsin to lead Queen-Cookie into her 4 year old class at the World Dairy Expo. This time she placed 8th in the open and 3rd in the Jr show in a very tough class.

April 1st, 2024, we were hit by a tornado that destroyed the biggest barn on the farm. Queen-Cookie, her brand new daughter, Easter-Cookie, sister, Candy-Cookie, and her brand-new daughter, Storm-Cookie, were all in a barn 50 feet from the barn that was destroyed. We are very thankful for the miracle that none of them were harmed in the event.

Queen-Cookie’s daughter, Easter-Cookie, is expecting her first baby next spring. We look forward to seeing what Cookie name our son comes up with next! Watch our Facebook page for updates!
